Carrie Collins
Carrie Collins died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at The Care Center of Clinton. She was 99.
Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and member of New Mount Pilgrim M.B. Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Green; her husband, Mark Collins; two brothers, Albert Green Sr. and Charlie Green; two sisters, Ella Anderson and Corine Green.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Betty Ruth Moberley
TALLULAH – Betty Ruth Moberley died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at her home in Tallulah. She was 82.
Mrs. Moberley was born in Pawhuska, Okla., and lived in Tallulah for 60 years. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church of Tallulah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Stuart Moberley Jr.
Mrs. Moberley is survived by two daughters, Cherry M. Pittinger of Ridgeland and Karen M. Varner of Tallulah; a son, Edwin Stuart Moberley III of Tallulah; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Jean Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Pat Patrick, Shane Poole, Trey Varner, Edwin Moberley, Carter Moberley and Brent Fortenberry.
Dorothy Randle
MAYERSVILLE – Dorothy Randle died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital. She was 54.
Ms. Randle is survived by two brothers, Glenn Ford and Kelvin Ford, both of Jackson; four sisters, Cassandra Fox of Jackson, Helen Ford of Mayersville, Lillie Denson of Jackson and Sharon Fair of Jackson; and two aunts.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mayersville with the Rev. Mildred Fleming officiating.
