Christine Richardson Boyette
Christine Richardson Boyette, formerly of Ripley, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. She was 81.
Mrs. Boyette was a homemaker. She was a member of West Ripley Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur Richardson and Murry Boyette; her parents, Wheeler and Laura Ann Busby Morris; two sons, an infant and Tommy Richardson; one brother; and five sisters.
She is survived by a son, Ronnie Richardson and wife, Jackie, of Vicksburg; four grandchildren, Ryan M. Richardson of Vicksburg, Marla Jean Richardson of Jackson, Whitney Joy Richardson of Raymond and Amanda Kate Foster and husband, Kendell, of Lake City, Tenn.; and two great-granddaughters, Abigail Christine Boyd of Raymond and Katie Ann Foster of Lake City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McBride Funeral Home in Ripley with Bro. Lamar Grisham officiating. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery in Tishomingo County.
Visitation will be from 7 a.m. today until the service.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Richardson, Kendell Foster, Billy Hoyt Richardson, Eddie Carson, Earl Carson and Phil Richardson.
Rutha Mae King
Rutha Mae King died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. She was 57.
Mrs. King was a retired cook at St. Francis Catholic School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Bell and Mabel Barnes.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph King; two daughters, Pamela King Shaw and Lisa King, both of Vicksburg; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Carolyn Boyd of Detroit, Mich.; five brothers, Jimmy Barnes, Edward Barnes, David Barnes, Ricky Barnes and Albert Barnes, all of Detroit; a special friend, Charles Goods of Vicksburg and other relatives. Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
