The St. Al boys ran their record to 7-1 with a 3-0 victory over the North Pike Jaguars on Saturday at Balzli Field/Farrel Stadium.

Chris Guizerix scored to give the Flashes a 1-0 lead at the half. Jase Ebersole and Adam Fulcher added goals in the second half. The Flashes defense, led by goalkeeper Patrick Carroll, has recorded five shutouts and has only given up three goals so far this year.

Vicksburg 6, Terry 0

Michael Cooper and Eric Holland each scored two goals, and Jeff Grimshel and Ryan Ferrington each found the back of the net once to lift Vicksburg (3-0-1) to a shutout of Terry.

Jay Hall, Holland and Josh Dixon each had an assist for the Gators.

In the second game of the day, Cameron Curtis scored on a penalty kick with 15 minutes to play in the game to lift the Gators to a 2-1 win over powerful Madison-St. Joe.

Clinton Collins scored first on an assist by Holland to give the Gators a 1-0 lead in the first half.

St. Joe 1, Warren Central 0

Madison-St. Joe scored within the final two minutes on a disputed call to give the Bruins a victory over Warren Central.

&#8220It should have ended in a tie,” WC coach Jay Harrison said. &#8220We played very well.”

Girls

St. Aloysius 6, North Pike 1

Andrea Harrison continued her scoring campaign with three goals to propel the Lady Flashes past North Pike. Rebecca Sigh, Ryan Martin and Haley Davis each scored a goal in the victory.

Shana Stanton, Martin and Krista McCollum each had two assists.

Warren Central 2, Pearl 0

Kari Lieberman and Liza Kate Chaney each scored a goal, and Lieberman added an assist as the Lady Vikes won the first game Saturday of the Ridgeland Tournament.

In the second game, Lieberman scored two goals, while Brooke Nevels and Julie Waddle each scored a goal in a 4-0 win over Gulfport. Kristine Fischenich had two assists in the win over Gulfport.

Vicksburg 9, Cleveland 0

Crystal Davidson scored three goals, while Diari Gilliam and Becky Wilson scored two goals apiece in a blowout win over Cleveland in the Ridgeland Tournament. Beverley Simmons and Tayvi Ellis each had a goal in the win.

Viktoria Case and Wilson each had two assists, and Davidson, Jill Rush, Lucy Matthews, Gilliam and Nasus Robb each had an assist.

In the second game, Northwest Rankin scored on their first shot of the game and their last shot in downing Vicksburg, 2-0. The Missy Gators are 3-2 on the season.
