Freddie Lee Barnett

Freddie Lee Barnett died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. He was 52.

Mr. Barnett was a former member of First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Barnett Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Gladys Lee Barnett of Vicksburg; two brothers, Phillip Barnett Jr. and Anderson James Barnett, both of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

James Boykin

ROLLING FORK – James &#8220Jimmy” Boykin died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland. He was 73.

Born in Oktibbeha County, Mr. Boykin was a retired electrician. He was a veteran of the Navy and was a member of First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Boykin, and a daughter, Jamie Faye Boykin.

He is survived by three sons, Kent Boykin of Wichita Falls, Texas, Kevin Boykin of Iowa Park, Texas, and James Treves Boykin of El Dorado, Ark.; one daughter, Tammy Vanderford of Valley Park; two sisters, Christine Cooper of Rolling Fork and Inez Neeley of Hollandale; and 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Millard Caulder officiating. Burial will follow at Vickland Cemetery in Delta City.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Sandifer, Allen Yelverton, Dave Schaefer, Treves Cooper, Robert Neeley and Merlin Richardson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Box, Frank Corban, Jimmy Walker, J.M. Barnett, Claude Carter, W.G. Boykin, F.R. Boykin and Sonny Boykin.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Ministries or the First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork.
