Omelia Borden Chatman.

Omelia Borden Chatman died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, La. She was 94.

Mrs. Chatman was born in Dodson, La., and was a resident of Zachary.

She was a house parent at the Louisiana Training Institute of Monroe, La. before retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Church of God in Bastrop, La.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Chatman; parents, John Oscar and Ellen Savannah Borden; four brothers, Floyd Borden, Elmer Borden, Woodrow &#8220Dick” Borden and Lamar Borden; six sisters, Etta Jones, Evie Turnbow, Ola Bonner, Nita Trice, Elnora Bratton and Alma Mullins.

She is survived by a sister, Omah Butler of Woodville, Miss.; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at Cox Chapel in Oak Grove with the Rev. Paul Ninemire officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Pallbearers are Van Bratton, Lance Butler, Sam Priddy, Trampus Butler, Cody Butler, Robert Peavy, James Peavy, Jeremy Evans and Chad Butler. Honorary pallbearers are her nephews.

Lillie Mae Green.

FRANKLIN, Texas – Lillie Mae Green died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, in Bryan, Texas. She was 90.

Mrs. Green was born in Milam County, Texas. She was a life long resident of the Petteway Community in Robertson County. She was a homemaker and member of the Herds Prairie Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cantrell R. Green.

Mrs. Green is survived by two daughters, Sarah Thompson of Bremond, Texas, and Lois Vinson of Vicksburg; four sons, Billy J. Green, Roy Green and Ray Green, all of Bremond, and James Green of Franklin, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Herds Prairie Baptist Church in the Petteway Community of Robertson County. Interment will be in the Petteway Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 Sunday evening at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.

Charles D. Sumrall.

ROLLING FORK – Graveside services for Charles D. Sumrall will be at 2 p.m. today at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork.

Visitation will be today at Glenwood Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the service.

Mr. Sumrall died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. He was 72.

He was born in Scott County and was a resident of Rolling Fork for 40 years. For the past three years, Mr. Sumrall had been a resident of Yazoo City. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Rolling Fork.

He was preceded in death by a wife, Evon Sumrall.

Mr. Sumrall is survived by his wife, Ruby Sumrall, of Yazoo City; three brothers, Wilson Sumrall of Bastrop, La., David Sumrall of Indianola, Miss. and Wayne Sumrall of Lake Village, Ark.; two sons, Charles F. Sumrall of Yazoo City and Douglas D. Sumrall of Vicksburg; three daughters; Darlene Smith of Jackson, and Theresa Tilghman and Marie Sumrall, both of Rolling Fork; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Thomas David &#8220T.D.” Waters Jr.

OAK GROVE – Thomas David &#8220T.D.” Waters Jr. died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at West Carroll Care Center in Oak Grove, La. He was 81.

Mr. Waters was born in Forest, La., and was a resident of Oak Grove. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, where he once served as deacon. He was a board member of the West Carroll National Bank and served on the board of the MEO. He owned the Western Auto store for several years. Mr. Waters served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII in the South Pacific Theater. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a charter member of the West Carroll Ambulance Association and he once served as Assistant Fire Chief in Oak Grove.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Benton Waters; and parents, Tom David Waters Sr. and Myrtle Esther Waters.

He is survived by a son, Tom David Waters III of Oak Grove; a brother, Jim G. Waters of Oak Grove; a sister, Edna Salemi of Lake Providence, La.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews and a caregiver, Greg Miles.

Services are today at 10:30 a.m. at Cox Chapel in Oak Grove with the Rev. Zale Lewis, the Rev. Keith Riley and Archie Haley officiating. Visitation will be at 8 a.m. until the service.

Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Melton, Wayne Holley, Dennis Berry, Shorty McLemore, Bobby O’Neal, Dennis Seamans and Archie Haley.

Bobby Wayne Woods.

HAMBURG, Ark. – Services for Bobby Wayne Woods will be at 10 a.m. today at Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home in Hamburg, Ark. Burial will be at Carlock Cemetery.

Mr. Woods died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, in Hamburg. He was 49.

A resident of Redwood, Mr. Woods was a native of Crossett, Ark., and a former resident of Hamburg. He was a retired carpenter and a Freewill Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Woods, and a brother, Billy Woods.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Debbie Ray Woods; two sons, Tommy Lynn Woods of Vicksburg and Vernon Wayne Woods of Greenville; his mother, Barbara King Woods of Hamburg; three sisters, Lois Keathley of Redwood, Ruthie Watt of Hamburg and Cindy Cole of Marks; four brothers, Timmy Woods, David Woods, Kenneth Woods and Carl Woods, all of Greenville; his maternal grandmother, Geneva King of Hamburg; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
