Vicksburg Police are investigating seven burglaries and attempted burglaries this morning, including a cluster of four on Indiana Avenue and Mission 66, an area targeted by burglars multiple times over the past several weeks.

&#8220We have some leads we’re following up on,” said Capt. Mark Culbertson, chief of detectives.

In the past month, more than 20 break-ins, some in which merchandise or cash was taken, have been reported along Indiana Avenue, Mission 66, Pemberton Square Boulevard and Halls Ferry Road. The burglars have targeted mostly small businesses and some more than once.
