Theodore Fields.

LOS ANGELES – Theodore Fields died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at Gardenia Memorial Hospital in Gardenia, Calif. He was 57.

Mr. Fields was born in Vicksburg. He was a resident of Los Angeles. He was a 1973 graduate of Harriet Tubman High School in Compton, Calif. He was employed with Theodore Family Dining for 18 years in Detroit. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Vallejo, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Carson Fields of Detroit; his mother, Virginia Fields of Los Angeles; his father, Theodore Vance of Detroit; his brother, Dr. Tedman Vance of South Africa; two stepsisters, all of Detroit; two stepbrothers, all of Detroit; his grandmother, Maggie Fields of Vicksburg; other relatives and friends, including Ruby Wilson, Ida Bass and Edna Garnett, all of Vicksburg.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Jessie Willis Neal.

Services for Jessie Willis Neal were at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Neal died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. She was 72.

Surviving relatives previously not listed include three nieces, Shellon C. Wilson, Natalie Chambers and Clarissa Scott, and a nephew, Michael Scott, all of Vicksburg.

Rev. Mose C. Young Sr.

Services for the Rev. Mose C. Young Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion M.B. Church No. 1 with the Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Rev. Young died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Covenant Health and Rehab in Vicksburg. He was 77.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Jackson Sr. and Luzette McGee; two sisters, Eloise Jackson and Theresa Lee; and one brother, Willie Jackson Jr.

Rev. Young was a retired minister and a former Greenville resident. He was a member of the Mississippi Baptist Seminary and Mount Zion M.B. Church.

Survivors include seven sons, Willie Young, Delainne Young, Michael Young and David Young, all of Las Vegas, Oliver Young of Buffalo, N.Y., Joseph Young of Chicago, and Dr. Moses C. Young Jr. of Vicksburg; two daughters, Gilda Sanford of Greenville and Lula Lee of Las Vegas; and other relatives, including Amos Jackson of Natchez.
