Warren County’s softball teams will reach their first checkpoint of the young season on Saturday.

Warren Central will host St. Aloysius and Vicksburg, along with a trio of Louisiana teams – Rayville, Delhi and Epps – at the Lady Vikes Fast-Pitch Invitational. The tournament gets underway at 9 a.m., with St. Al playing Rayville, and the championship game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Lady Vikes Field.

St. Al and Vicksburg will meet at 2 p.m., but neither team will play Warren Central before the championship round. St. Al and VHS are together with Rayville in Pool 1, while WC is in Pool 2.

Warren Central plays its first game at 10:15 a.m. against Delhi, while Vicksburg opens at 11:30 against Rayville.
