Lucy Holden Bingham.
Services for Lucy Holden Bingham will be at noon Saturday at Bingham Memorial M.B. Church with the Rev. James Archer officiating. Burial will follow at Zollinger Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with family present from 6 until 7.
Mrs. Bingham died Monday, March 6, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. She was 72.
Born in Cayuga, Mrs. Bingham lived most of her adult life in Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah Bingham.
Survivors include one son, Henry Bingham of Jackson; two daughters, Rose Bingham and Jackie Steward, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Willie Holden and J.W. Holden, both of Muskegon, Mich.; one sister, Annie B. White of Vicksburg; a niece and nephew whom she reared, Laura Holden Lewis of Jackson and Curtis Holden of Muskegon; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and other relatives.
Austin Craig Crumb.
Austin Craig “George” Crumb died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at his home. He was 43.
Mr. Crumb was a plumber with A.C. Plumbing. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Crumb and Ella Mae Gibson Crumb; four brothers, Jessie Dorsey, Charles Crumb, Johnny Crumb and Leroy Crumb; and one sister, Maggie Thomas.
He is survived by two daughters, Tanzanika Dunn of Lakewood, Calif., and Bencile Crumb of Vicksburg; four brothers, James Crumb and Larry Crumb, both of Vicksburg, Carl Crumb of Cleveland, Ohio, and Billy Ray Crumb of Ontario, Canada; one sister, Lola Hughes of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including members of the Gibson, Jefferson and Gross families.
Robbins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Claudette Davis.
Services for Claudette Davis will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope M.B. Church in Bovina with the Rev. Frank Gardner officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday at Robbins Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from noon until the service.
Mrs. Davis died Monday, March 6, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. She was 61.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnell Davis; her parents, Billy Williams Sr. and Carrie Lee Williams; and one brother, Albert Jones.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffery Williams and Maurice Phelps Williams, both of Vicksburg; three daughters, Linda Christmas, Jennie Simmons and Barbara Williams, all of Vicksburg; three sisters, Grace Price, Dorothy Lockhart and Bobbie Jean Williams, all of Vicksburg; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Arthur Loomis Hawkins Jr.
Arthur Loomis Hawkins Jr. died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at his home. He was 75.
A longtime resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Hawkins joined U.S. Rubber Reclaiming in 1963 as a sales and marketing representative. He became president in 1997 and CEO in 1999.
He attended Broadmoor Grammar School and Byrd High School in Shreveport, graduating in 1947. He served in the Army from 1952 until 1954. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry in 1954 from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his father, Arthur L. Hawkins Sr.; and his mother, Martha T. Hawkins.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Peggy Hawkins of Vicksburg; four sons, Mark Hawkins and David Hawkins, both of Vicksburg, Paul Hawkins of Tallulah and Steve Hawkins of Tyler, Texas; a sister, Anice Morris of Anchorage, Alaska; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Friday until the service.
Pallbearers will be Mike Killebrew, Mercille Wallace, Don LaGrone, Terry Guynes, Ricky Lowery, Don Morton, Scott Verhine and Randy Thorne.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of U.S. Rubber Reclaiming Inc., Dr. William Wooten and Dr. Martin Newcomb.

Margaret LaHatte.
Margaret LaHatte died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at her home. She was 83.
Born in Harperville, Miss., Mrs. LaHatte had been a Vicksburg resident for the past 43 years. She was a homemaker and member of Crawford Street United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cicero LaHatte Jr.; and a sister, Mildred LaFoy.
She is survived by two sons, Clay LaHatte and Steve LaHatte, both of Vicksburg; a stepson, Cicero LaHatte III of Vicksburg; a stepdaughter, Martha Lynn Manor of Ridgeland; and one sister, Marion Johnson of Sturgis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Scott L. Reiber officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. until the service.
Shelby J. Mann Jr.
Shelby J. “Chuck” Mann Jr. died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at his home. He was 76.
A native of Greenwood, Mr. Mann had lived in Vicksburg since 1967. He was the son of the late Shelby J. Sr. and Eleanor Hamilton Mann. He was an electrician for 25 years for International Paper Co.
He served in the Air Force in the Korean War and was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was also a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie R. Mann of Vicksburg; three sons, Shelby J. Mann III of Vicksburg, Stanley Harold Kemp of Hattiesburg and Edward Earl Kemp of Mammoth Spring, Ark.; six daughters, Edwina Mann Carpenter of Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Georgia Mann Caruthers, Glenda Bruce, Brenda Pettway, Kaye Weeks and Jamie Renee Harmon, all of Vicksburg; one brother, James Garland Mann of Fort Valley, Ga.; one sister, Eleanor Mann Davidson of Fort Valley; and 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Revs. Ted Kemp and Jerry Owens officiating. Burial will follow at the Mann Cemetery on Bud Martin Road.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bruce, Tom Caruthers IV, Adam Caruthers, Joshua Carpenter, Mike Bruce, Shane Kemp, Sohn Sibley, Bill Sibley and Greg Sanders.

Annie Mae Odom.
LORMAN – Annie Mae Odom died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at her home in Lorman. She was 88.
Mrs. Odom was preceded in death by her parents, Shelton and Anner Smith Dunbar; and her husband, Calvin Odom.
She is survived by four sons, Calvin Odom Jr. and Wayne Odom, both of New Orleans, Louis Nealy of Natchez and Franklin Odom of Lorman; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; an aunt; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Christian Church in Russum with the Rev. Isaac Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
Vivian Leah Leist Rayner.
CONWAY, Ark. – Services for Vivian Leah Leist Rayner were Feb. 28, 2006, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Murry officiating. Burial followed at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Ark.
Mrs. Rayner died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at Conway Hospital. She was 52.
She was born in Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Smith; maternal grandparents, Oliver and Hazel Bryan; and paternal grandparents, Willie and Olga Leist.
Survivors include her husband, Bronson Rayner of Conway; her parents, the Rev. Charles and Ruth Bryan Leist Sr. of Memphis; one daughter, Lisa Pilkington of Memphis; two brothers, Charles Leist Jr. of Brandon and Carlton Leist of Memphis; one sister, Judy Leist Anderson of Jackson; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ricky Gossett, Michael Stringfellow, Lee Raines, Joe Pilkington, Dennis Anderson and Ron Davis.
Joseph Lee Williams.
Services for Joseph “Joe Joe” Lee Williams will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 this evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams died Wednesday, March 1, 2006. He was 50.
A graduate of Warren County schools, he served in the Army for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Jackson Sr. and Mable Lee Williams Linson; and one sister, Rose Marie Williams Davis.
Survivors include seven sisters, Sherry Ann Williams, Mary C. Jackson Burns, Johnnie Jackson, Gwendolyn Williams, Theodora L. Williams, Hazel D. Williams Tubwell and Shavaughn Allen; three brothers, Willie Jackson Jr., Robert Jackson and Thomas Patrick “T.P.” Jackson; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including the Vaughn, Jackson, Owens and Rogers families.
