Theodore Bishop.
MARTIN, Tenn. – Services for Theodore “Ted” Bishop will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin with the Rev. Terry Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Bishop died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at his home in Martin, Tenn. He was 76.
A native of Warren County, he was a graduate of Culkin Academy. He retired from Illinois Central Railroad.
After serving in the Mississippi Army National Guard, he retired as a sergeant major from the 412th Engineer Command, U.S. Army Reserve, in Vicksburg. He was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, F. D. Bishop and Cora Holt Bishop.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Bondurant Bishop of Martin; two sons, Jim Bishop and Mike Bishop, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Cathy Head of Vicksburg and Leigh Lewis of Clinton, Mo.; two stepsons, Terry Johnson of Martin and Tracy Johnson of Clinton, Ky.; a step daughter, Tammie Taylor of Martin; four grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and one great-stepchild.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Johnson, Zach Taylor, Micah Bishop, Chuck Hauhe, David McDaniel and Beau Pemberton.
Memorials may be made to Bible Union Baptist Church.
Hasseltine B. DeBoe.
Hasseltine B. DeBoe died Monday, April 17, 2006, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 93.
Born in Manifest, La., Mrs. DeBoe had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1935. She was a member of Junior Auxiliary Club, Corps of Engineers Auxiliary Club and First Baptist Church of Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman DeBoe, and seven brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Tanner of Vicksburg and Priscilla Lott of Brandon; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. John G. McCall and Dr. Matt Buckles officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Joel Lott, Calvin Pugh, Andrew Lott, David Haworth, Durwood Tadlock and Buddy Arnold.

James Michael Mann.
James Michael Mann died Monday, April 17, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. He was 50.
Mr. Mann worked for the City of Vicksburg Water & Gas Department and KFC. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Williams Jones; and a sister, Joyce Denise Kelly.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Ross Mann of Vicksburg; his father, Willie Joe Hunt and stepmother, Rose Hunt, both of Vicksburg; two stepsons, Benjamin Ross and James Ross, both of Vicksburg; three stepdaughters, Carolyn Ross, Melinda Ross and Brenda Ross, all of Vicksburg; 12 sisters, Katherine Brown, Diane Lacey, Elinor Jackson, Marsha Jenkins, Josie Cosey, Andrea Mason, Shavone Hunt, Kimberly Mason, Vera Woodson, Alberta Williams and Sylvia Jackson, all of Vicksburg, and Mary Ann Williams of Los Angeles; 10 brothers, Robert Jones, Michael Anthony Hunt, Casey Kellum, Derrick Jackson, Greg Mason, Timothy Hunt and Jason Grissom, all of Vicksburg, Tommie Johnson of North Carolina and Robert Hunt and Michael Antonio Hunt, both of Chicago; and nieces and nephews, including Jerlon Brown of Vicksburg.

John Edmond Mauldin.
TALLULAH – John Edmond Mauldin died Friday, April 14, 2006, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 72.
Born in Mississippi, Mr. Mauldin had lived in Tallulah for 39 years. He was a retired automobile salesman.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Marquis Jr., Robert E. Marquis and Joseph L. Marquis, all of Indianola; one daughter, Renee M. Todd of Tallulah; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 today at Indianola City Cemetery in Indianola with the Rev. B.J. Bennett officiating. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah has charge of arrangements.
