Vicksburg High football, baseball and tennis standout Jordan Henry and softball star Heather Shelby snagged the top awards at Tuesday’s Vicksburg High athletic awards banquet.

Henry, an Ole Miss baseball signee, hit over .500 in leading the Gators into the second round of the state playoffs. On the tennis court, he won the divisional championship and will be shooting for a state title this weekend.

He played football last season as a wide receiver.

Shelby, a standout in both the classroom and on the playing field, helped guide the Missy Gators fast-pitch softball team to the playoffs. She also earned the academic award as a member of the football cheerleading squad.
