Michael W. Mills.

TALLULAH – Michael W. Mills died Monday, May 22, 2006, at his home in Little Rock. He was 44.

Mr. Mills was born in Tallulah and had lived in Little Rock for 20 years. He was a respiratory therapist and a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include his mother, Kathleen Neuroth Mills of Tallulah; four brothers, John Mills of Houston, Warren Mills of Dallas, Ed Mills of Tallulah and Tom Mills of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Betty Ann Mills Thompson of Longview, Texas; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Edward’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Ferre D’Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Peterson, Doug Crothers, Lamar Bullard, Jacob Brinson, Marty Nolan and Charles Nolan.

Blanche Kirby Wagner.

RAYMOND – Blanche Kirby Wagner died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at her home in Raymond. She was 91.

Mrs. Wagner was born in Houlka, Miss. Before moving to Raymond in 1996, Mrs. Wagner served as a church secretary, pastor’s wife, pianist, Sunday school teacher, WMU leader and vacation Bible school teacher in Monterey, La.

Survivors include her husband, John W. Wagner of Raymond; two daughters, Johnnie Marshall of Vicksburg and Mary Ann Averitt of Raymond; a son, Buddy Wagner of Clinton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other relatives, including John and Beth Marshall of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Raymond. Burial will follow at Raymond Cemetery under the direction of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon Friday until the hour of service at the church.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Raymond or to a favorite charity.

Classie White.

PORT GIBSON – Classie White died Monday, May 22, 2006, at Claiborne County Nursing Center. She was 94.

Mrs. White was a resident of Port Gibson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Savannah Ellis White; eight brothers, Charlie White, Albert White, Noah White, Richard White, Rufus White, Tommy White, Willie White and Zack White; and two sisters, Charlotte Myers and Stella White.

She is survived by an adopted son, Kenneth R. White of Battle Creek, Mich.; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including LaDonna Davis of Hermanville and members of the Ellis, Phelps and White families.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Hermanville with the Rev. Johnnie Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Hermanville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
