YAZOO CITY – Lois Mae Reeves died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at King’s Daughters Hospital in Yazoo City. She was 88.

A Yazoo City native, Mrs. Reeves was the daughter of Tennie Sims and Henry A. Johnston. She was a homemaker and retired coordinator of First Baptist Church Daycare.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah H. Reeves of Yazoo City.

Survivors include two sons, Henry &#8220Budgy” Reeves of Holly Bluff and Billy Reeves of Starkville; one daughter, Judy Addison of Yazoo City; four brothers, James Johnston and Fred Johnston, both of Yazoo City, Henry Herbert Johnston of Benton and Paul Johnston of Vicksburg; two sisters, Katherine Pierce and Mary Ann Burns, both of Benton; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were at 11 a.m. today at Stricklin-King Chapel in Yazoo City with Dr. Doug Broome and the Rev. Cortez Hutchinson officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wade Burns, Billy Hood, Richard Johnston, Warren Pierce, Herbert Johnston and Eddie Johnston.
