George Lacey.
George Lacey died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at his home. He was 85.
Mr. Lacey was a member of Calvary M.B. Church. He was retired from Union Compress and P.P. Williams as a heavy-equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Blackmon and Paul Lacey; a daughter, Rosemary Redfield; a son, George Lacey Jr.; two brothers, Frank Collier and Louis Tyler; and two sisters, Natalie Warner and Ella Mae Myles.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Pearl Lacey of Vicksburg; two daughters, Deloris Lacey and Diane Lacey Green, both of Vicksburg; and grandchildren.
Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Emma L. Moody.
Emma L. Moody died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. She was 71.
Mrs. Moody was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, M.C. McNeal and Ida Lee Rawls McNeal.
Survivors include her husband, John T. Moody of Redwood; two sons, John Moody Jr. of Olympia, Wash., and Anthony Moody of Redwood; five daughters, Yolonda Moody of Memphis, Lynda Ragan, Carolyn Darville and Eddie Mae Williams, all of Vicksburg, and Bettye Moody of Ridge Crest, Calif.; one brother, Alonzo McNeal of Chicago; two sisters, Diane Turner and Ella McNeal Jones, both of Chicago; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
