Mississippi Braves officials said ticket sales for the weekend games against the Huntsville Stars have been brisk, but tickets are still available. Game times are set for 7:05 each night.

Jones is hitting .333 for the Atlanta Braves with 22 doubles and 15 home runs.

The M-Braves could use his bat after suffering a pair of losses to the Stars on Thursday night. Mississippi lost 3-1 and 8-2. The team is currently in last place in the Southern League’s Southern Division with a 20-27 record.

Vicksburg native John Thomson did a rehab assignment with the M-Braves last season before being promoted back to the big club.
