Quarterback Tyrone Stingley then led South Leake on its comeback bid. He tossed a 1-yard TD pass to Jamichael Parrott and Terrell Darby added the two-point conversion run to make it 21-14 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Stingley scored on a 7-yard run to bring the Wildcats (2-3, 2-1) within a point. They opted to go for the lead, and St. Al’s defense stuffed the run.
