Voters head to polls Tuesday|[11/5/06]

Voters go to the polls Tuesday to elect judges, congressmen, school board member, levee commissioners and a coroner in Warren County.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Ballots in the general election will include races for one of the state’s two U.S. Senate seats; all of the state’s seats in the U.S. House of Representatives; judicial offices in all state circuit-, chancery- and county-court districts; some district seats on school boards in some counties; and seats representing some counties on the District Board of Mississippi Levee Commissioners.
The qualifying deadlines for candidacy for all offices on this year’s ballot have passed, as has the deadline to register to vote in the election.
