Phillip Knox McNemar

Services for Phillip Knox McNemar were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jay Tremble and Doris Leist officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. McNemar died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at his daughter’s home in Vicksburg. He was 66.

A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. McNemar was the son of the late Phillip Y. and Dorothy Allison McNemar. A Navy veteran, he retired as a maintenance supervisor from ParkView Regional Medical Center and Pecan Ridge Apartments. He was a member of Independent Methodist Church in Yazoo City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, two sisters, and wife, Sonia McHann.

Mr. McNemar is survived by two daughters, Linda LaSalle and Darlene Rogers, both of Vicksburg; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Randy Stubbs, Bobby Sanders, Howard Lambert, Robert Williamson, David LaSalle Jr. and Phillip M. LaSalle.

Honorary pallbearers were Larry Benson, Rodney McHann and Charles Sanders.
