WC, Vicksburg in Little Six title games|[02/02/07]

Warren Central will play for a pair of Little Six tournament championships tonight, while the Vicksburg Gators will battle for the 9th-grade championship.

Jarrod Williams scored 16 points and Cory Davis added 13 as the 8th-grade Vikings defeated Brandon 52-43 to reach the championship game. Warren Central buried eight 3-pointers and converted 15 of 19 free throws.

Tyler Adams, a 6-foot, 7-inch 8th-grader at Brandon, led all scorers with 20 points.

The Vikings (14-2) will play Vicksburg tonight. The teams split their two regular season games and the Vikings won in the conference tournament. The game is scheduled to be played at Pearl at 6:15 p.m.

In the 9th-grade tournament, Kelsey Howard and Roosevelt Harris each scored 17 in a 57-43 win over Clinton.

The Gators are scheduled to play Brandon tonight for the championship.
