Levoyd James Humphries

DECATUR, Ala. – Levoyd James Humphries died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at his home in Decatur, Ill. He was 78.

Mr. Humphries was a member of Wheeler Basin Good Sam Camping Club and Ninth Street Methodist Church in Decatur.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving C. Humphries and Arrena M. Cobbs Humphries; and a brother, Everette Humphries.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Humphries of Decatur; three sons, Michael Levoyd Humphries and wife, Pat, of Vicksburg, Anthony Buel Humphries and wife, Dannete, of Decatur, and Timothy Lamar Humphries and wife, Becky, of Decatur; two daughters, Beverly Hopper of Decatur and Karen Dietz and husband, Sam, of Decatur; three brothers, Carrol Gene Humphries of Center Springs, Ala., Hulond Humphries of Wedowee, Ala., and Billy Hue Humphries of Eva, Ala.; two sisters, Sarah Sue Eddleman of Fairview, Ala., and Yvonne Hughes of Pinson, Ala.; and 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle, Ala., with the Revs. Randy VanLandingham and Kenny Baskins officiating. Burial will follow at Burningtree Memorial Gardens in Decatur.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Todd Roberts, Joe Richardson, Derek Humphries, Mark Fallin, Dylan Humphries and Kenneth Humphries.

Linda Louise Klemme

Linda Louise Klemme died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 58.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mrs. Klemme was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald R. Klemme II.

She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Klemme of Vicksburg; a brother, Paul D. Rachal of Vicksburg; a sister, Rosa Anna Girard of Vicksburg; her parents, Fannie Lois and Paul E. Rachal of Vicksburg; and one grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Pressley officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service.
