Rachelle Bordelon Boothe
JONESVILLE, La. – Funeral services for Rachelle Bordelon Boothe, 39, of Jonesville, La., will be at 2 p.m. today, April 10, 2007, at Good Road Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Bryan Taylor and Mack Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Rachelle was born Sept. 28, 1967, in Alexandria, La., and passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Huey P. Long Hospital in Pineville, La. She was a resident of Jonesville and a member of Good Road Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Thomas “T.J.” Rollins Jr.; a sister, Lori Anna Bordelon; a nephew, Logan “Pookie” Book; grandparents, Harden and Claudia Bordelon; great-grandparents, Sarah and Austin Hensley; and an aunt, Peggy Chapman.
Survivors include her father, Henry Bordelon and his wife, Melissa, of Vicksburg; her mother, Charlotte Book and her husband, Jack, of Jonesville; two sons, Derrick Rollins and Jefferie Rollins of Jonesville; two sisters, Jana Brumitt and her husband, Chris, of Jackson and Mandy Bordelon of Vicksburg; three brothers, Joey Bordelon and his wife, Mandy, and Brandy Book, both of Jonesville, and Hippie Book and his wife, Melissa, of Fort Necessity, La.; grandparents, Tinker and Lucille Renfrow of Monterey, La.; three aunts, Evelyn Parker, Pam Lee and Sherrie Cather; two uncles, Robert Bordelon and Tuffy Book; and a special friend, Tonya Evans.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Ogden, Kevin Wiley, Dewey Wiggins, Chris Harris, Jody McJimsey and Clay Jernigan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Cather, Calvin Seward, Cody Mason, Terry Temple, Cody Nugent, Chris Brumitt, Sonny Carley and Acie White.
Barbara Jean Glover
FORT WORTH, Texas – Barbara Jean Glover, formerly of Vicksburg, died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Universal’s Hospice and Palliative Care Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. She was 77.
A homemaker, Mrs. Glover was born in Phoenix, Ariz., to Dolph and Vera Hinkle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Edwin Glover.
She is survived by a son, Jon Glover; three daughters, Elvia Foreman, Cheryl Pharr and Darla Mitchell; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Barcelona Road Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Ark. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs.
A celebration of life was at 11 a.m. today at Broadway Baptist Church of Fort Worth.

Donald Everett Houston
Donald Everett Houston died Monday, April 9, 2007, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 67.
A resident of Vicksburg for 40 years, he was born in St. Louis, Mo., and grew up in Yazoo City. He was a graduate of Yazoo City High School and Holmes Junior College in Goodman. He served six years in the Navy, serving aboard the Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarines USS George Washington and USS Nathan Hale. He retired from International Paper after 35 years of service as an electrical supervisor.
Mr. Houston was a member of Highland Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, a member of Young at Hearts and worked with Volunteers in Mission. He was a member of Gideons International.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen B. Houston and Emma Lee Wilkinson Houston; his stepmother, Lizzie B. Houston; and a sister, Hazel Houston Judd.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joyce Juanita Ross Houston of Vicksburg; one son, Todd Everett Houston and his wife, Dawn, of Seabrook, Texas; one daughter, Wendy Houston Collier and her husband, Bryan, of Tupelo; five grandchildren, Garrett Ross Houston, Brett Everett Houston and Kyle Joseph Houston, all of Seabrook, and Olivia Kate Collier and Houston Daniel Collier, both of Tupelo; three sisters, Joyce Houston Hill of Vicksburg, Shirley Ross Shanks of Jackson and Nancy Ross Cotton of Yazoo City; numerous nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Riles Funeral Home with Dr. Bryan Collier, pastor of The Orchard United Methodist Church in Tupelo, and the Rev. Bob Conrad, pastor of Wilderness Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Green Acres Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight.
Pallbearers will be Dan Tipton, Carl Dew, Eddie Roberson, Ronnie Smith, Jackie Bourn, Bobby Richardson, Hubert Stroud and Lonnie Wooley.

Jason Dean Puckett
ELLISVILLE – Jason Dean Puckett died Monday, April 9, 2007. He was 32.
Mr. Puckett was a resident of Ellisville State School.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Puckett Jr.; and his maternal grandparents, Loma Stennett Jr. and Jerry Henley Stennett.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Stennett Puckett of Vicksburg; four brothers, Matt Puckett and Paul Michael Puckett, both of Vicksburg, Trey Puckett of Petal and Mark Puckett of Port Gibson; one sister, Angel Puckett Brumfield of Rodney; and other relatives from Vicksburg.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ellisville State School Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Swan Lake Dormitory at Ellisville State School.
Memorials may be made to Ellisville State School Parent Association, Ellisville, MS or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
Willie Williams
PORT GIBSON – Services for Willie Williams were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Central Church of God in Christ with Eugene Carney officiating. Burial followed at Waterloo Cemetery.
Mr. Williams died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at his home in Port Gibson. He was 66.
Mr. Williams was born in Jefferson County to McKinley and Georgia Knight Williams. He was a painter/carpenter and a member of Central Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harrison Williams, Johnny Williams and Burnell Williams; and two sisters, Julia Williams and Lillie Williams.
He is survived by one son, Willie Williams Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Brook Williams of Port Gibson; one sister, Laura Jones of Cary; a grandchild; and other relatives and friends.
