Betty Jean Wash Barnes

Betty Jean Wash Barnes died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. She was 50.

Mrs. Barnes was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ferry D. Wash; and two brothers, Owen Wash and Anthony Wash.

She is survived by her husband, Willie L. Barnes of Vicksburg; a daughter, Kimberly Jones of Georgia; her mother, Vellie Burks Wash of Vicksburg; four brothers, Terry Wash of Memphis, and Joseph Wash, Ferry Wash and Willie Wash, all of Vicksburg; five sisters, Melinda Wash of Newton, and Cynthia Wash Donerson, Deloris Wash, Jeanette Wash and Connie Wash, all of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; and other relatives, including the Dotson, Green, Barnes, Smith and Wilson families of Vicksburg.
