If allegations prove true, Vick should receive exactly what he dished out

Cali the Dog sat perched on her couch watching television Tuesday night when SportsCenter appeared on ESPN.

Michael Vick faces federal indictments, the program started. The Atlanta Falcons quarterback is linked to a dogfighting ring in Virginia with details so frightening Stephen King would have a hard time grasping them.

Being a victim of human-on-canine violence, Cali the Dog took particular interest in the Vick case.

&#8220He should do life in prison,” Cali the Dog said.

If the indictment is true and if Vick is found guilty, his fan base will disappear like one of the myriad dogs involved in the alleged fighting ring.

He will have America against him, because we can stomach human-on-human violence, robot-on-robot violence and robot-on-human violence, but bring a dog or cat into the picture and the world turns against you.
