Willie Frances Coutch Conerly

UTICA – Willie Frances &#8220Bill” Coutch Conerly died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at Trinity Mission in Clinton. She was 88.

Mrs. Conerly was born in Claiborne County Nov. 7, 1918, to the late William W. and Sally Dean Coutch. She was a homemaker and a member of Utica Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ather Clyde Conerly Sr.; and a brother, Eugene Coutch.

She is survived by a son, Clyde Conerly of Summit; two daughters, Dorothy Ann Horn and Geneva Vessell, both of Utica; a brother, Jimmy Coutch of Yazoo City; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Utica with the Rev. Charles Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Utica Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Richard Horn, John Horn, Dustin Bobst, Joshua Bobst, Mark Bobst, Randy Vessell and Kenny Alexander.

Lillie Chapman Sanders

Lillie Chapman Sanders died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. She was 85.

Mrs. Sanders was born in Jefferson County to James Edward Chapman and Irma Youngblood Chapman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, H.W. Sanders.

She is survived by one son, Harold Sanders of Vicksburg; one daughter, Brenda Wiggins of Prairieville, La.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Spencer Funeral Home in Fayette with the Rev. Frank Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Buie Cemetery in Union Church.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and Mike McCormick.

William A. Stevens

ROLLING FORK – William A. &#8220Bro” Stevens died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. He was 71.

Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Stevens had been a Rolling Fork resident since 1982. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1954 to 1957. He was a member of the Methodist church in Hollandale.

He was preceded in death by his parents, F.D. Stevens and Vaudell B. Stevens; and a brother, H.C. &#8220Juicy” Stevens.

Survivors include a cousin, Wayne Thornton of Huntsville, Ala.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Anguilla Methodist Church with the Rev. Linnie May officiating. Burial will follow at Golden Link Cemetery in Anguilla.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Stevens, Bubba Cooper, John Thornton, Mike Underwood, Jerry Keever, Jason Grew, Shane Miller and Mike McPherson.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Miller, Jim McDaniel, Dr. Dan Jackson, Charles McPhail and Allen Yelverton.

Carrie Lee Davis Trevillion

Carrie Lee Davis Trevillion died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. She was 85.

A homemaker, Mrs. Trevillion was retired from Batesville Casket Co. She was a member of Faith Christian Center.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Johanna Davis and Gail Annette Trevillion; three brothers, Joseph Davis, Nathaniel Davis Sr. and Willie Fitzgerald; and her parents, Eugene and Elizabeth Yancy Davis.

She is survived by a son, John E. Davis of Vicksburg; and five sisters, Delores Van Hook, Elizabeth Davis and Rosemary Walker, all of St. Louis, Mo., Sarah Davis of Natchez, and Corine Davis of Atlanta.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
