Mildred R. Coor

ST. JOSEPH – Mildred R. Coor died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at her home in St. Joseph. She was 90.

Mrs. Coor was born in Beech Creek, La. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She had held various offices in the church since 1939.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, John R. Coor, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Baptist Church with the Rev. Kelly Barnett and the Rev. Ron Flurry officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Cemetery in Newellton, under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Pallbearers will be Winn Blanche, Lane Blanche, Jim Paxton, Collin Kemp, John Crigler, Charlie Kitchen and Dan Kitchen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Washington and the deacons of St. Joseph Baptist Church.
