Carla B. Conner died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at River Region Medical Center. She was 47.

Mrs. Conner was born and reared in Chicago and moved to Vicksburg as an adult.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Banks and Elizabeth Green Banks; and a sister, Renee Banks.

Survivors include her husband, Rossevelt Conner of Vicksburg; two sons, Wydell Banks of Vicksburg and Nathaniel Banks of Chicago; four brothers, Roynell Banks Sr., Lawerence Banks, Leonard Banks Jr. and Lenard Banks, all of Chicago; three sisters, Nakita Banks, Sueise Green and Blanche Green all of Chicago; nine grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and friends, including Jessica McWhorter Banks of Vicksburg and Shellie Bonds of Grenada.

Williams Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.

Willette Reed Greer

UTICA — Willette Reed Greer, 86, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at her home in Utica.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Utica Christian Church with burial at Utica Cemetery.

Mrs. Greer was a lifelong resident of Utica. She was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed. She will be most remembered for her servant’s heart, never-ending smile and her love for others.

She is survived by one daughter, Virginia “Ginny” Kitchens and husband, Denny, of Utica; two brothers, Billy Beasley and Richard Beasley, both of Utica; three sisters, Mazie McDonner of Baton Rouge, Shirley Stoner of Orlando, Fla., and Kay Newman of Florence; three grandchildren, Shane Kitchens of Starkville, Mandy Boyanton of Florence and Shelly Stringer of Brandon; one great-grandchild, Ben Michael Stringer of Brandon; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Annie Mildred Seawright

Annie Mildred Seawright died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007. She was 89.

She was a lifelong resident of Claiborne County.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Seawright of Vidalia and Jerry Seawright of Port Gibson; and a sister, Elizabeth Urry of Pebble Beach, Calif.

Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
