Rolland Whitney

Rolland Whitney died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. He was 69.

Born in Lakeview, Mich., he was the son of the late Leo Whitney and Mabel Gill Whitney. He served in the Air Force.

A resident of Vicksburg for a number of years, he was a retired construction heavy-equipment operator.

Mr. Whitney attended the New Vision Family Worship Center.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Robinson.

He is survived by a number of relatives, including a sister, Phyllis Pike of Lakeview.

Services will be announced by Riles Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeview.
