CB radio, tools among missing items|[06/25/08]

Two air conditioners and a CB radio are missing this morning.

Tuesday at 10:10 a.m. a GE 3-ton air conditioner valued at $300 was reported missing from the 800 block of Morgan Lane.

Another air conditioner was reported missing Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. The unit valued at $200 was of unknown make and missing from the 3500 block of Washington Street.

Tuesday at 4:21 p.m. a residential burglary was reported in the 800 block of First East Street. Missing were a Craftsman tool set valued at $300, a Midland handheld CB radio valued at $150 and ammunition for a .223 rifle and a .308 rifle valued at $80.

City teen injured in two-car wreck

A Vicksburg teen was injured Tuesday in a two-car wreck on Mississippi 27.

Carlos Gonzalez, 15, 207 Duval St., was treated and released from River Region Medical Center, spokesman Allen Karel said this morning.

Gonzalez was the driver of one car in the two-car wreck reported at 5:56 p.m.

The other driver and passengers did not go to River Region, Karel said.

No information about the wreck was available.
