Gary Mickelson, in the company’s Corporate Media Relations office in Springdale, Ark., said this morning that the company has been attempting to reduce known allergens in its food products and had labels prepared for meat that does not contain soy.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said it has received no reports about people being sickened by the chicken.

The chicken was processed between July 23 and Tuesday, and was shipped to Tyson food service distributors in 29 states.
