Sarah Lee Ballard died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at her home. She was 24.

A homemaker, Ms. Ballard was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg.

She is survived by Ricky Ellerbe of Vicksburg; one son, Richard Tanner Ellerbe Jr. of Vicksburg; her father, Ricky Ballard of Vicksburg; her mother, Carla Shiers of Vicksburg; three brothers, Ricky L. Ballard and Austin Lynch, both of Vicksburg, and Dusty Ballard of Alamosa, Colo.; three sisters, Tiffany Shiers and Mercedes Lynch, both of Vicksburg, and Kyri Ballard of Alamosa; and her maternal grandmother, Shirley Smith of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from noon until the service.

Pallbearers will be David Smith, Claude Ezell, Jake Foster, Dercy Lynch, Bradley Smith, Alan LaGrone, Anthony LaGrone and Sylvester Cooper.
