Marla Alisha Jones, bride-elect of Kirk Phillips Gipson, both of Memphis, announces their wedding plans for 6 p.m. Sept. 20, 2008, at Cedar Grove Mansion. A reception will follow.

Miss Jones is the daughter of Shiela Boylan of Smiths Station, Ala., and Paul Jones of Cordele, Ga.

Mr. Gipson is the son of Mrs. Philip Gipson and the late Mr. Gipson of Vicksburg.

Dr. Timothy Erskine will officiate at the ceremony. The bride will be given in marriage by her mother and her father.

Maids of honor will be Nicole Jones, sister of the bride, of Smiths Station and Jennifer Ruiz of Columbus, Ga. Bridesmaids will be Eden Stanton, sister of the groom, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; Diana Medlock of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Marita Payne of Melbourne, Australia.

Josh Edds of Columbus, Ohio, will serve as best man. Groomsmen will be Brant Gipson, cousin of the groom, of Columbus; Nick Gage of Minneapolis, Minn.; Robert Garris of Charleston, S.C.; Drew Stanton, brother-in-law of the groom, of Chapel Hill; and Seth Libbey of Vicksburg.
