The church doors were adorned with wreaths covered in roses. The registry table, accented with an arrangement of calla lilies, hydrangeas, larkspur and long-stemmed roses, featured a family Bible belonging to the bride’s grandfather. Bouquets of hydrangeas, lilies and orchids tied with wisteria-satin ribbon marked the path to the altar. Candles in various cylinder vases surrounded by veining greenery illuminated the church’s stained glass windows. Flowers at the altar were placed in memory of the couple’s grandparents.

Music for the ceremony was performed by the Vista String Quartet, consisting of Jarrod Beard, trumpeter; David Lawson, organist; and Randall and April Green and L’Ida Lee Zeleskey, vocalists. Following the chiming of the hour, the mothers were seated to Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.” “How Beautiful” by Paris was performed before the attendants entered to Pachelbel’s “Canon in D.” A trumpet fanfare, followed by “Prince of Denmark’s March,” was played for the bride’s entrance. “All I Ask of You” was sung following the giving of the bride, and “The Lord’s Prayer” followed the blessing of the marriage. “The Wedding March” was the recessional.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of ivory silk-satin. The strapless, A-line gown featured a curved neckline and yoke bodice with a chapel-length train. The bodice was accented with a matching beaded-satin ribbon tied at the waist.

Her cathedral-length, designer veil with crystal beading completed her gown.

She wore diamond earrings, a gift from the groom, and a diamond necklace from her grandfather.

The bride carried a handtied bouquet of white tuberose, miniature calla lilies, hydrangeas and stephanotis. A lace handkerchief embroidered with the bride’s new initials was wrapped around the bouquet and, tucked inside, was an antique necklace belonging to the bride’s great-grandmother.

The attendants wore floor-length, A-line gowns in camel-colored tissue taffeta. The strapless gowns featured a dropped waist with ruching across the side. They each carried nosegays of hydrangeas, calla lilies, roses and cymbidium orchids.
