Joseph Kelly Johnson and Felicia Rene Brown were married Sept. 15, 2008, in a private ceremony. A reception will be held at 5 p.m. Sept. 27, 2008, at Battlefield Inn. All relatives and friends are invited to attend the reception.

The bride is the daughter of Bobbie Chambers of Vicksburg and the late Clenphus Brown Sr. She is the granddaughter of the late Olivia Martin and Dave Chambers of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Juanita Johnson and Joe Parson, both of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Idel Luckett of Vicksburg.

For a wedding trip, the couple will travel to Las Vegas. They will make their home in Vicksburg.

The bride is a graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a member of FTA, FBLA and the Student Council. She attended Hinds Community College and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She is a monitor technician and unit secretary at River Region Medical Center.

The groom is a graduate of Vicksburg High School. He is a press operator for Armstrong Wood Floors.

Out-of-state guests were from Wisconsin, Michigan, Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, Virginia and Washington.

Reception hostesses will be Levaughn Gaines, Cynthia Davis, Anita Youngblood, LaDonna Gaines and Rochelle Heard.
