Frances Pettway Meadows

Frances Pettway Meadows died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. She was 70.
Ms. Meadows passed away after a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and a member of Bovina Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert C. and Lillie Hagan Pettway.
Survivors include her two sisters, Joy Adams and Dorothy Fleming, both of Vicksburg; two nephews, R.D. Forbes and Ray Fleming; a niece, Beth Porter; great-nephews, Dustin Forbes and Steven Porter; a great-niece, Rhiannon Cannada; two great-great-nieces, Rebekah Cannada and Hannah Forbes; and a great-great-nephew, Caleb Porter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Jess Sumrall officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 this evening at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Forbes, Steve Porter, Josh Poole, Hunter Cannada, Bill Neal and Dave Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Dennis, Charles Jones, Gary Burns, Charles Harrison, St. Dominic Hospital Critical Care staff and doctors, friends from Levi’s, Mike Brown, K.B. Brown Jr., Glen Jones, David Birdsong and Reed Birdsong.
