The engagement of Helen E. Mathes to Tony P. Hart, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Oct. 18, 2008, at Northside Baptist Church. A reception will follow at Long Lake. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Ms. Mathes is the daughter of Lisa McPeek of Florence. She is the granddaughter of Cynthia Mathes and Jessie Mathes Sr., both of Vicksburg.

Mr. Hart is the son of Shirley Hart and Jimmie Hart, both of Vicksburg. He is employed at M&M Farms.
