ROLLING FORK — Vera B. Harris died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at her home in Rolling Fork. She was 95.

Mrs. Harris was a native of Marion County, Ala. She had been a resident of Rolling Fork since 1967. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harris; and 13 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Billy Ray Harris of Hollandale.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork with the Rev. Millard Caulder officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 7 at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Kennett Memorial Gardens in Kennett, Mo. 

Pallbearers will be Thad Virden, Jimmy Walker, John Abney, Clifton Porter, Will Rutherford, Bill Rutherford and Roger Dale.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Dick Carter, Laurance Carter, Jimmy Glisson and the First Baptist Church Sunday school class.
