Lauren Rebecca McGowan, bride-elect of Paul Patrick Powers, both of Vicksburg, announces their wedding plans for 6 p.m. Oct. 18, 2008, at Wilsonwood Lodge. A reception will follow.

Miss McGowan is the daughter of Ronnie F. and Linda D. McGowan of Vicksburg.

Mr. Powers is the son of Hattie M. Powers and the late Donald W. Powers of Tallulah.

The Rev. Tommy Miller will officiate at the ceremony. The bride will be given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor will be Paige Leigh Payne of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids will be Callie Wyatt McGowan and Rebecca Wright Antwine, both of Vicksburg.

Honorary bridesmaids will be Aline Calais Roberts and Jennifer Tompkins Normand, both of Vicksburg.

Jeremy Purvis and Drew Powers, both of Tallulah, will serve as best men. Groomsman will be Brandon Wright Powers of Tallulah.

Ushers will be Keith Powers of Tallulah and Mark McGowan, Kiel May and Scott May, all of Vicksburg.
