Services for Aveon Juan “Peanut” Jones will be at noon Saturday at Jackson Street M.B. Church with the Rev. Mike Wesley officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 6 tonight at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at his home. He was 30.

Born in Warren County, Mr. Jones was employed with Redwood Construction Co. He was a member of Salem M.B. Church in Rolling Fork.

He was preceded in death by his father, McKinley Moore; his maternal grandparents, Johnella Jones and Roosevelt Jones; and his paternal grandparents.

Survivors include a daughter, Sarkelia J. Williams of Greenville; his mother, Mary Jones of Vicksburg; one brother, Kawjuan Jones of Vicksburg; and three sisters, April Jones, Beverly F. Jones and Towanda Miller, all of Vicksburg.
