NATCHEZ — Evandia Dunmore, 54 and formerly of Vicksburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital.

Born in Natchez, Evandia was the daughter of Annie Carter and the late James Carter.

She is survived by her two children, Corey Dunmore of Vicksburg and Annika Dunmore of Jackson; one granddaughter, Makynzie Dunmore; her mother, Annie Carter of Natchez; a sister, Annie Dunbar of Natchez; a brother, James Dunmore of Oklahoma; a special daughter, Rae Evans; four godsons, Travanti Smith of Hattiesburg, Jamal Lee Sr. of Jackson, Antonio Peoples of Tupelo and Kedarian Wells of Vicksburg; a nephew, Christopher Dunbar of Natchez; a niece, LaToya Dunbar of Houston, Texas; special friends, Mrs. Bea of Port Gibson and Catina Freeman and Lisa Yarrington of Vicksburg; and a host of other relatives.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with Mackel and Sons of Natchez in charge.
