Alma Robinson

Alma Robinson died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. She was 81.

Mrs. Robinson was a former cook at Walnut Hills Restaurant. She was a member of Bright Morning Star M.B. Church and served on the Mother’s Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed Mason and Carrie Lee Mason Dukes; a daughter, Gloria Williams; two sisters, Odelia Hill and Alice Harris; and a grandson, Steven Williams.

Survivors include five sons, Leon Williams of Waynesboro, Freddie Williams of Saginaw, Mich., and Cleothia Williams, Charles Williams and Michael Robinson, all of Vicksburg; three daughters, Herdcine Williams, Margaret Williams and Linda Sykes, all of Vicksburg; two brothers, Johnnie Mason of Uba City, Calif., and Robert Mason of Greenville; a sister, Thelma Ross of Joliet, Ill.; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
