Juveniles arrested after go-cart is missing|Crime and Accident

Two juveniles were arrested Saturday at 12:56 p.m. for possession of stolen property.
A go-cart valued at $1,100 had been left in the victim’s front yard, and the juveniles drove it from Sky Farm to Waltersville Estates, said Sgt. Sandra Williams of the Vicksburg Police Department.
The juveniles were awaiting appearances in Juvenile Court.
Curtain rods, camera among missing items
In thefts during the weekend:
* Two curtain rods valued at $20 were reported stolen at 4:19 p.m. Friday from the 100 block of Williams Street.
* A Nikkon camera valued at $850, a lens valued at $250, a battery valued at $50, a cable valued at $45, a charger valued at $80, an assortment of DVD movies and CDs and a nylon camera bag were reported missing at 4:02 p.m. Monday from a residence at Ebony apartments, 1103 First North St.
Two treated, released after wreck on Halls Ferry
Two people were treated and released after a two-car wreck in the 3100 block of Halls Ferry Road at 3:42 p.m. Friday.
A car driven by Mary Pendleton, 39, 654 Stenson Road, and carrying passenger Cherese Pendleton, 15, was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Richard Thames, 63, 578 Bear Lake Road, said Sgt. Jackie Johnson of the Vicksburg Police Department.
The Pendletons were treated and released, spokesman Allen Karel said.
Thames was not injured.
Cyclist reports attack on Johnson Street
A strong armed robbery was reported Saturday at 8:18 a.m. in the 700 block of Johnson Street.
The victim told police he was on his bicycle when he was approached by six men. His red and black 16-inch Mongoose mountain bike valued at $150 and watch valued at $10 were reported stolen.
The victim was treated and released from River Region Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.
