Linda Faye Jones died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at her home in Lorman. She was 49.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her mother, Murtis Barber; and a son, Anthony Jones Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony Jones of Lorman; one son, Lee Andrew Jones of Jackson; three daughters, Murtis Jones, Evelyn Jones and Anita Jones, all of Lorman; her father, Jimmy Barber of Lorman; four brothers, Wayne Dyer of Fayette, Jimmy Barber Jr. of Vicksburg, David Lee Harris of Lorman and Dexter Jones of Port Gibson; five sisters, Brenda Berry, Sheila Compton and Darlene Grayson, all of Lorman, Patricia Jones of Port Gibson and Wanda Robertson of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including Elizabeth Jones and James Jones Sr., both of Cannonsburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill Christian Church in Lorman with Elder Walter Chambers officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 tonight at Thompson Funeral Home and Wednesday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
