Knox announces plans to marry Gibbs

Khelli L. Knox, bride-elect of Deric D. Gibbs, both of Dallas, announces their wedding plans for 5 p.m. Nov. 1, 2008, at Zion Travelers M.B. Church. A reception will follow at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Miss Knox is the daughter of Georgia T. Knox and the late J.W. Knox Sr. of Vicksburg.
Mr. Gibbs is the son of Beverly G. Carson and the late Douglas D. Carson of Vicksburg.
The bride’s aunt, Pastor Carol D. Turner of Chicago, will officiate at the ceremony. The bride will be given in marriage by her uncle, Frank D. Tate of Chicago.
Matron of honor will be Sheila A. Trevillion of Wylie, Texas. Bridesmaids will be Leslie T. Brunson of Austin, Texas; D. Nicole Carter of Houston, Texas; Veronica L. Clay of Irving, Texas; Angela R. Crook of The Colony, Texas; Tanya H. Dews of Highland Village, Texas; Kathy D. Gibbs of Mesquite, Texas; Angela Jenkins-Love of Jackson; and Candace S. Maiden of Baton Rouge.
Junior bridesmaid will be Zyderrica S. Gibbs of Vicksburg.
William C. McClinton Sr. of Jackson will serve as best man. Groomsmen will be Desmond D. Carson, Dexter D. Carson, Darryl Cosby, David M. Gibbs and Cedric J. Jackson, all of Vicksburg; Demmy C. Bland and J.D. James, both of Dallas; and Jamie M. Cartwright of Nashville, Tenn.
Junior groomsman will be William C. McClinton Jr. of Jackson.
Ushers will be Kenny D. Gibbs of Dallas and Larry E. Turner Sr. of Chicago.
Flower girls will be Winter G. Love and Autumn J. Love, both of Jackson, and Skyler J. Clay of Irving. Ring bearer will be Cameron D. Gibbs of The Colony.
