Miss Luffey, Mr. Paxton to exchange vows Jan. 17

Mr. and Mrs. John Louis Luffey Jr. of Monroe announce the engagement of their daughter, Lillian Beth, to Albert Henry Paxton. Mr. Paxton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Theo Paxton of Tallulah.
Miss Luffey is the granddaughter of Rosemary Ellis Luffey and the late John Louis Luffey Sr. of Monroe and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lawrence Salsbury of West Monroe.
Mr. Paxton is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Henry Paxton, the late Valeria Logue Paxton and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henry King, all of Tallulah.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Frederick High School, Louisiana State University and LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
She is an associate attorney with McGlinchey Stafford.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Tallulah Academy and Louisiana State University.
He is a state trooper with the Louisiana State Police.
Vows will be exchanged Jan. 17, 2009, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Monroe.
