Caldine L. Younger died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. She was 53.

Mrs. Younger was a registered nurse. She was a member of Family Life Cathedral and Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester Sr. and Celestine Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Younger; three sons, Eric Younger and Tyree Younger, both of Vicksburg, and Sammie Younger of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Sylvester Johnson of Memphis; two sisters, Shirley Antwine and Pearl Bowman, both of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
