Kenneth Oran McDougal

Kenneth Oran McDougal died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He celebrated his 54th birthday on May 13.
Born in Manila, Ark., Mr. McDougal had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1989. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosa Lee McDougal; and a grand-niece, Lindsey Dawn Thompson.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Teresa McDougal; one daughter, Dianna Renee McDougal of Clinton; one sister, Bethyl Kay Staggs and her husband, Dan, of Monette, Ark.; one brother, Freddie McDougal and his wife, Betty, of Enid; two nieces, Stacie Thompson and her husband, Kenneth, of Hartselle, Ala., and Lynn Boyett and her husband, Mike, of Lake Providence; three nephews, James Staggs of Monette, Jo-Keith McDougal of Ohio and Lonnie Groner of Enid; one grand-niece, Madison Thompson; four grand-nephews, Blake Thompson, Harley Boyett, Jeremy Boyett and Nicholas Boyett; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Larry Haggard and Ed Hightower officiating. Masonic funeral rites and burial will follow at Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gary Burns, Ralph Emfinger, Jimmy Moore, Wiley Pritchard, Dean Strittman and Donnie Tedford.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Hyland-Jarmon Lodge No. 113.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
