PORT GIBSON — A Wesley Foundation memorial service for Latasha Woodard will be at noon Nov. 6, 2008, at Oakland Memorial Chapel at Alcorn State University with the Rev. Vera Hall Stamps, director of ASU Wesley, officiating.

Mrs. Woodard died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 20. She was 30.

Mrs. Woodard lived in Port Gibson and was a former resident of Jefferson County and Madison, Ill. She attended Alcorn State University, where she was a member of the Wesley Foundation. She was a preacher at area churches and a 10-year employee of Taco Bell.

She is survived by her husband, Daryl Woodard of Port Gibson; two daughters; her mother, Selina Crawford of Port Gibson; two sisters; and other relatives.
