Nettie Ford died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was 98.

Mrs. Ford was a retired nurse and a member of Highland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Ford; her parents, Hamp and Venie Watkins; four brothers, Cliff Watkins, Malcolm Watkins, Grady Watkins and Hayward Watkins; and three sisters, Alma Fryery, Loca Watkins and Gertie Joy.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Kidd, Mark Dove, Mickey Strohm, William “Bill” Strohm, Ed Killen and Virgil Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mildred Killen, LaVern Green and deacons of Highland Baptist Church.
