A Vicksburg man was out on bond Friday evening after being charged with possession of cocaine, said Warren County Jail records.

Doc Hall III, 42, 812 Clark St., was arrested earlier in the day by Warren County Sheriff’s deputies. He was released from the Warren County Jail at 4:10 p.m. Friday on a $15,000 bond.

Vicksburg man charged with drug court violation

A Vicksburg man was jailed Friday on a Drug Court violation charge, said Warren County Jail records.

Matthew Thompson, 23, 801 Clay St., was arrested by Warren County Sheriff’s deputies at 1:30 p.m. He was being held without bond at the Warren County Jail.

County woman arrested on possession charge

A Warren County woman was charged Friday with possession of a precursor to a controlled substance, said Warren County Jail records.

Stephanie E. Hutson, 21, 1865 Ring Road, was arrested by Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agents. She was released at 5:15 Friday evening from the Warren County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

Shady Lane home suffers smoke damage

A home on Shady Lane suffered smoke damage Friday after an electrical fire, said Vicksburg fire officials.

Vicksburg firefighters responded to the call to William Bynum’s home at 12:15 p.m. He pulled the plug on his microwave after he saw sparks coming from underneath the appliance.
