Thomas and Lanice Wagner of Picayune announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Lauren, to Ruben Chas Pierce. Mr. Pierce is the son of Werner and Martha Pierce of Petal.

Miss Wagner is the granddaughter of Otto and Bernice Logue of Vicksburg and Gladys Wagner of Madison and the late Eugene H. Wagner.

Mr. Pierce is the grandson of Willie and Edith Pierce of Petal and Ruben and Sally Cuellar of Sanford.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Picayune Memorial High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising and marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Miss Wagner is a wireless consultant with Alltel Communications.

The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Petal High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology and a Master of Public Health Services with an emphasis in health administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Mr. Pierce is director of patient financial services with Pioneer Health Services.

Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Nov. 29, 2008, in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
